Love it, love it, love it!
Some things are just meant to be.
When you find it, YOU KNOW!
My story so far..............
The very beginning
Born a 70s baby in Essex, UK, I have always loved designing and making as child, from ornamental shell dolls to artificial flower arranging in woven baskets.
My career took the path of graphic designer to digital designer/animator. I then took the step into management, I learnt a lot, but it was definitely not my happy place.
My amazing life changing moment
Have you ever gone shopping and not been able to find what you’re looking for, you want something a little different, you don’t quite know what it is, but you will when you see it? All you know is you want something to match your outfit that’s a bit different from the norm, a statement about yourself.
YOU GO HOME EMPTY HANDED :(
I have often done that, but on this one occasion in 2014, I decided to do something about it. I had come across a silversmithing jewellery taster course at the London Jewellery Academy in Hatton Gardens. I was thinking, wouldn’t it be cool if you could design and make whatever jewellery your heart desired (within reason). No more hunting around shops and being disappointed. I was thinking big, I could make my own ............
I went on the course and was totally hooked; I had inadvertently found “my happy place” at the bench.
I continued my training at the college which was excellent. It wasn’t as easy as I first thought but it was very enjoyable. There was so many skills to master and lots of inspiring tutors and designers with so much knowledge for me to learn from.
My passion is as strong as ever and my technical skills for jewellery designing and making have continued to grow over the years. I continue to develop these and will incorporate them into future collections which I am really looking forward to sharing with you.
I hope that my designs will become part of those special pieces of jewellery that you have been searching for.
I love and am inspired by flowers, the colours, the patterns the shapes the sizes. They are shouting to be looked at, that’s how I want my jewellery to be, looked at, loved and admired, whether dramatic and bold or understated elegance.
In contrast, I also love geometric shapes, the alignment and order they bring. The feeling of confidence, knowing and strength.
My feel-good inspiration to my designs is a little bit of sparkle in the way of gemstones that makes you smile by day and feel glam by night.
Don't go home empty handed, why not look through my shop and finally find that piece of jewellery that you thought you couldn’t find?
Create your own statement with the choices of metals and stones from my designs and collections.
